Facilitation with Arts Queensland

The Neuropower team were recently invited to facilitate ‘Intersections’ – a one day industry forum designed to connect the arts and disability sectors in a curated conversation.   2505 Facilitation with Arts Queensland

At Intersections, NeuroPower were asked to facilitate discussions, with the outcomes being focused on how to:

  • share innovations in disability arts practice
  • provoke new thinking and discussion
  • identify areas for further collaboration and practical joint projects
  • create cross-sector networks
  • provide practical insights into disability arts planning

Leading arts practitioners Kate Sulan, founding Artistic Director of Rawcus, Kate Larsen, CEO of Arts Access Australia, and co-presenter Emma Bennison, Executive Officer of Access Arts Queensland and Chair of Arts Access Australia, delivered short presentations on critical issues facing artists and audiences with a disability.

The program also included a series of practical workshops to be delivered by Access Arts Queensland.
